OPENING - SUPERMARKET OASIS - VIA PALERMO (PG)
Inaugurated in Perugia, in Via Palermo, the new supermarket OASI.
The work, which began in the spring of 2018, was completed today. The construction has led to the redevelopment, renovation and expansion of the former slaughterhouse in Via Palermo. The project provides for two types of structures: a medium-sized structure and a residential structure.
THE AVERAGE STRUCTURE
This part houses the new supermarket OASI, part of the Gabrielli Group, which covers an area of about 3290sqm. It is the second OASI supermarket in Perugia that bears the signature of CAGIMM S.r.l., which entrusted Archei with the construction of the first Oasi supermarket in Viale Centova (find out more here). The project of the supermarket has renewed its partnership with the Archei brand, which has supplied and installed hinged and fixed doors and windows, curtain walls and automatic doors.
This realization, aims to be the first place for the freshness and authenticity of its products, thanks to the collaboration with local suppliers.

SUSTAINABLE INNOVATIONS
To complete the expansion of the supermarket area, the initiative has provided for:
- 232 parking spaces, 170 in the basement and 62 at the same level with the supermarket;
- photovoltaic systems that cover 50% of the structure;
- refrigeration, lighting and air conditioning systems with high efficiency and sustainability;
- insulation, internal equipment and trolleys made of recyclable material.
Therefore, quality, Italian spirit, and environmental savings are the order of the day for the OASI supermarket and above all it is the challenge and the objective of the Gabrielli group. This is explained by Barbara Gabrielli, vice-president of the Group:
"The new Oasis presents itself to the community as an agile formula, rich in offers and attentive to social and environmental issues - continues - Our objective is to invest in the territory [...] - we therefore envisage - collaboration with the Food Bank, support for the purchasing power of families, enhancement of local agri-food excellence, collaboration with local producers, [...] is truly a daily help".
COMPLETE THE AREA
As for the residential structure, which completes the extension of the area of the former slaughterhouse, we are talking about a four-storey building distributed as follows:
- two floors for 12 private apartments;
- a floor for the executive offices;
- an attic for the installation of photovoltaic panels.
